The exhibition and catalogue retrace the artist's career from 1987, when he began his pictorial career on international theatre tours, to the series 'Tout se tient en équilibre précaire' (Everything Stands in Precarious Equilibrium) in December 2020, a month before his death.

In his works, formal composition, materials and colour form philosophical conceptual scenes, in which each element refers, as if in a play of mirrors, to the literary references on which the artist was constantly nourished.
